Grant-Paid Principal Investigators: Leave Management Approver Training Session

This virtual training session will introduce you to the Leave Management system, which will be implemented for all grant-paid staff (both unionized and non-unionized) starting June 1, 2026.

During the session, you will learn:

  • How to use the online Leave Management system supported by Banner
  • How to review and approve leave requests submitted by staff
  • Key timelines for reviewing and approving leave requests
  • How to view and monitor staff leave balances

 

A representative from Labour and Employee Relations will be available to answer questions related to leave entitlements under the collective agreement or the grant-paid staff guide. Please note that the primary focus of this session is to help you navigate the system and effectively review and approve leave requests.

This training will be held on Microsoft Teams. After you register, you will receive a Teams link by email a couple of days prior to the event.
