Are you nearing the end of your career and contemplating 'what's next'? While you have likely already done significant financial planning, have you devoted the same time and energy to planning for life beyond your paycheck or pension? If not, now's the time! Join ADRP member, Dr. Susan Hutchinson, for this interactive virtual workshop. During this workshop you will be introduced to the Association of Dalhousie Retirees and Pensioners (ADRP) and to the basics of retirement lifestyle planning. Planning doesn't mean creating a schedule to stick to when you retire. Instead it is about preparing for the kind of life you want to be living post-work. You will get a chance to:

  • Reflect on what 'retirement' means to you;
  • Learn about what lifestyle planning is and why it's important;
  • Discover what's important for a happy and fulfilling life in retirement;
  • Identify immediate 'next steps' for planning for life in retirement.

The seminar will be presented by a Susan Hutchinson on behalf of the Association of Dalhousie Retirees and Pensioners.

This session is open to all Dalhousie Faculty and Staff who are 45 years and older.
