This panel starts with a dialogue between three social work academics who have been engaged in disability scholarship for decades.  Irene, Roy and Judy will discuss how the profession of social work has responded to disability inclusion over the years.  Irene will follow with a recap on schools of social work and disability curriculum, and Roy will explore theoretical links between the two disciplines. Ami will present on belonging through disability-affirming education and practice. Concluding the panel with Sarah and Rose speaking to climate change's impact on disabled persons, with an emphasis on mental health.
