BeWell at Work: Empowering a Community-Led Culture of Wellness

The Be Well campus well-being initiative represents Dalhousie's commitment to fostering a culture of care, belonging, and resilience for students, faculty, and staff. Drawing inspiration from the Canadian Mental Health Standards for students and workplaces, as well as insights from the foundational Campus Health and Well-Being Self-Study, Be Well is a university-wide call to action. This presentation will explore the initiative's vision, its strategic alignment with Dalhousie’s mission, and key projects designed to address wellness challenges in our academic community.

At its heart, Be Well is a collaborative journey: one that invites every member of the Dalhousie community to reflect on their own well-being and take meaningful steps toward nurturing a healthier campus environment. We’ll explore actionable strategies and resources that empower individuals to prioritize self-care while contributing to a shared culture of support and connection.

Whether you’re a staff member, faculty, or simply curious, join us to learn how these wellness initiatives are shaping a brighter future for our community. Together, we can be well, uplift one another, and create a university where everyone truly belongs.
