You are at the top of your career but are you also at the top of your life? Are you healthy, happy, and fulfilled outside of work? Consider the years you dedicated to developing your skills and knowledge for your career and profession. Now is the time to start dedicating this same effort to planning for your life outside of and after work.

It is hard to leave work behind. In fact, many people stay in their positions because they can’t imagine who they will be (i.e., their identity) when no longer working. This workshop builds on the retirement lifestyle planning basics workshop you might have recently attended (If you didn’t, don’t worry: a brief review of key concepts will be presented).

In this workshop, we dive more deeply into reimagining yourself and life outside of work including:

  • Recognizing what you want to bring from work into life outside of work;
  • Rediscovering personal strengths, motivations/needs and interests;
  • Identifying priorities for maximizing happiness and fulfillment outside of work;
  • How you might want to invest your time to achieve your goals, including the big and little things you want to make time for.

Note: Dalhousie will offer financial planning workshops at later dates; this webinar does not deal with financial planning
