Our Presenter: Jessica MacKenzie, Restorative Parenting
Certified Parenting Coach, Educator, and Founder of Restorative Parenting, Jessica MacKenzie is a compassionate guide, offering nurturing and nonjudgmental support to navigate the daily challenges of family life. She is dedicated to empowering busy parents, helping them to cultivate calm, connection, and cooperation within their homes.
Jessica’s journey into the realm of parenting coaching is woven with diverse threads. With a background as a career advisor at Dalhousie’s Faculty of Management for 9 years, she chose to take a leap and embrace the role of a stay-at-home mom. This pivotal decision led her down a path of homeschooling, becoming a forest school leader, and extending her warmth as an international student host parent.
Her approach is rooted in conscious parenting, supported by daily meditation and training in nonviolent communication and emotional regulation. Recognizing the challenges of raising children in today's uncertain and disconnected world, Jessica empowers parents with practical tools to find ease and well-being in their roles.
