You spend more than half your life at work. You want your work to make an impact and have a purpose. You know you could be doing more work that is meaningful for you and useful to your department or faculty. So, how do you do more of the work that makes a difference and leaves you energized and less of all the other stuff that somehow fills your working day?
We will examine a model that defines work as bad, good or great, looking at strategies for doing more “great work.”
Our Presenter: Joanne Fraser has a keen interest in helping employees learn from and adapt to the changes taking place in today's workplaces. Her experience in training and facilitation work comes from being an independent consultant for 15 years and then managing learning and development programs at Dalhousie for 4 years.Ms. Fraser has a Certificate in Adult Education from Saint Francis Xavier. She holds a BSc from the University of Saskatchewan and a MSc in Development and International Policy from the University of Bristol, England.
