Supervisory Development Program

Supervisors are involved in the day-to-day issues of the workplace and require specific knowledge and skills to effectively manage others in Dalhousie’s complex and changing environment. This program delivered over 7 different dates focusing on the operational and tactical aspects of supervision. The specifics of HOW to be a successful supervisor will be emphasized throughout the interactive sessions.

This program is intended for those relatively new to supervision. It is targeted to front-line supervisors who have been in their role for 1-3 years and have had limited opportunities to complete supervisory or leadership training. A short application will be required upon registration in order to confirm your attendance in the program.
