Supervisors are involved in the day-to-day issues of the workplace and require specific knowledge and skills to effectively manage others in Dalhousie’s complex and changing environment. This program delivered over 7 different dates focusing on the operational and tactical aspects of supervision. The specifics of HOW to be a successful supervisor will be emphasized throughout the interactive sessions.
This program is intended for those relatively new to supervision. It is targeted to front-line supervisors who have been in their role for 1-3 years and have had limited opportunities to complete supervisory or leadership training. A short application will be required upon registration in order to confirm your attendance in the program. The expectation is that participants attend all seven sessions of the program with prefererence given to those that can.
