Many of us think of leisure as 'wasting time' or only important after the real work of living is done. Many also struggle to separate work from leisure in this all-virtual work life we're living. Yet, there are tremendous benefits that come from being intentional about our free time.
In this workshop we'll explore ways to (re)build moments of enjoyment into everyday life... and why it is so important to our well-being to do so.
Our Presenter: Dr. Susan Hutchinson (CTRS) is an associate professor in the School of Health and Human Performance. Her research has focused on the ways leisure can be a resource for coping, adaptation and personal growth when living with ongoing health problems or other life events.
