Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety.

Kathy MacPherson, Sleep Therapist with MedSleep Atlantic, is a graduate of Dalhousie University who then went on to train through the American Academy of Sleep Medicine to become a Polysomnography Therapist. Most recently she completed her certification in Clinical Sleep Health.

Kathy will be speaking about the benefits of getting a good night's sleep, as well as giving some insight into what we can do about the obstacles that may prevent us from getting that 7-8 hours of shut eye.
