Biosafety Training (Truro Campus)

The biosafety training course is intended for students, staff, and faculty of Dalhousie University who are working with biohazardous materials in research labs. This 3-hour session will review the principles and practices of biosafety and provide information on how to perform risk assessments in order to work safely in the laboratory.
This course has required readings that must be completed prior to attending the class. Once you register for the class, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the required reading.
NOTE: This session will be held on the Truro campus. There is a separate registration to attend in Halifax or Saint John.
Instructor: Pam Gallant is the Biological Safety Manager for Dalhousie University, and the Communications Officer for the Canadian Association for Biological Safety.
